Young And Stupid

At the delicate age of 20, the young lady had all the sexy in her genes fully bloomed,

Every where she'd go,fellas go crazy,

Because her body is a temple that every man wants to worship in,

All the attention got her Father overprotective,

Telling her not to talk to guys,not to socialize,

He tells her what to wear and she's still on a curfew,

Every five minutes he's the only guy who calls her,

But i don't blame him,

All those ashy guys remind him of his youthful days,

How young and stupid his character was,

He was one of 'em guys who played with ladies' hearts,

He didn't want his kind breaking his Angel's heart,

But no matter how much he tries to keep her from harm,

Her daughter always pointed out that she ain't a baby,

It's evident that the young and stupid stage is where her mind is,

And there's no way her daddy could save her from it,

It's a stage where every youngin' goes through,

Where liquor,weed and sex is a religion,

There's no stopping her body from taking up this new faith,

Discovering how her mother got to have her at her age,

Five years from now she'll look back and say,
"There was a time i was young and stupid."

If you live with yo momma,and you are tired of her being in your ears,

Especially Sunday mornings,Forcing Jesus in your System,

She hates your music and the things you see on T.V,

I don't blame her for trying her best,to keep you from being young and stupid,

Because your life right now is a flashback of her youthful days,

Every song on your playlist,are soundtracks of back then,

When she'd get drunk all day and high on weed,

Sleeping with different guys,every day every week,

She'd always skip class,and during exams she'd cheat,

That's a lifestyle that only Jesus or Growing up could save her from,

But her spirit was young and damaged,

It was in a state where Jesus was needed to save so that her spirit could grow,

She doesn't want you to be like her,

She doesn't want your soul crying,

The way hers did when she was young and stupid at your age.

Being young and stupid right now may feel good,

To your body and mind it will act like a healing,when you go through pain and stress,

But is it worth loosing your principles and lowering your morals just to feel good?

Is bowing down to peer pressure and complying to the norms in society worth your Prestige?

We all go through that stage in our lives,

Some of us pass it with tonnes of lessons about life,

Most of us get lost in it,and when we find ourselves and try to leave it,

It leaves a scar in our past,something we don't want those we love to ever go through,

It makes us wise in a painful way,

We often say that you can't be old and wise if you weren't young and stupid,

Yet there are those who are old and wise,and were once young and wise,

But does every one who was young and stupid,get to be old and wise without death taking his/her life?

Think about it...Act right!!
